There we were, the two of us huddled under the thunder, lightning and pine trees. The reaction to the thunder and lightning was fun to hold back for me. To look deep into my two year old's eyes and see the reflection of wonder and awe and presence and to not say anything and just observe. What an amazing experience! What beauty! I'm sure that he wasn't scared or really excited like me. He appeared content and relaxed and it looked like he was learning super fast. He was taking it all in as it was, alert and alive in the moment. I was focused on feeling the bubbles and the amazing sounds and everything else in the universe that was with us there and we sat there together without naming anything. It was true Bliss.
