Disagreement is healthy and indicates intelligence when both sides have done their homework. Conflict is healthy and encourages change and care when both sides are respectful and share mutual trust. Allowing for disagreement and conflict can be difficult because it holds us accountable to do something about it. It's so much easier to "go with the flow" and not speak up when we disagree. But all this does is protect the status quo. Lean into disagreement and conflict and use them as tools to move in a positive direction.
