By Now

2017-07-11

By now, you thought that you would have lost that extra weight. By now, you thought that you would be considered an expert. By now, you thought that you would have met your perfect spouse. By now, you thought that you would be popular. By now, you thought that your company would be profitable. By now, you thought that you would have achieved financial freedom. Become aware of your 'by now' thoughts. These thoughts are poison; they are fear. Fear of not being good enough. And these thoughts are also opportunities. Set realistic goals with deadlines, but if you do not meet the deadline it is by no means a measurement of you. Celebrate failures and try something different. Charge through discouragement and be motivated because you are that much closer to figuring out what it is you are working at.
